Basil Garlic Pesto

Pantry Staples & Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz of Basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pear juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 large bunch of parsley
  • 1 large collard or kale leaf
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 table spoon of mashed root veggies (optional)
  • flesh of 1 avocado (omit if you are using the pesto as a marinade)

Steps

  1. Put all of the ingredients together into a food processor and buz until smooth
  2. Pour into a jar with a lid, for storage.
