This recently renovated three bedroom stone house, was the former village bakery, and later the residence of the Chateau Guardian.
Situated in the grounds of the Chateau de Seailles, the gite nestles in it’s 6 hectares of park, woodland and garden. Visitors to this lovely holiday rental, have access to kilometers of beautiful strolling paths, a large pond and a big swimming pool, as well as private courtyard with bbq and outdoor eating area.
With a private entrance in a covered mews, the gite guests have complete privacy.
Parking for up to three cars, is conveniently located outside the mews doors. (More parking available by arrangement).

- Upstairs:
- Bedroom with a queen bed – over a private mews, with views of the walled courtyard and potager garden beyond.
- Bedroom with a king bed and a queen bed – A large room in the eaves of the house, with a skylight and small window, with a view of the front park.
- Full bathroom – A large brand new, stylish, modern bathroom. Shared by the two upstairs bedrooms.
- Small sitting room / library area. A nook at the top of the stairs with views of the front park, and cupboards full of books and board games.
- Information for those with mobility issues: There is one step at the front door, two steps at the back door, and two interior steps between the area with bathroom and kitchen, and the area with the living room and ground floor bedroom.
Guest Access
- Guests have access to a large salt water swimming pool, and adjacent orangerie, for lounging in the shade. Both the pool and the orangery are shared with the owners of the Chateau.
- Enclosed walled courtyard with bbq and outdoor eating area.
- Walking paths through woodlands, orchard, front park and around the lower pond.
- Guests do not have access to to the south lawn and upper pond, the chateau and its courtyard, chateau workshops, chapel and garages.
Other things to note
We have a very friendly (sometimes excessively so), large dog and three cats, who freely roam the property.
Although the chateau does have event spaces, events are not permitted without prior written approval, and associated services and fees.
No camping permitted.
